How to reach our B&B in Vietri sul Mare?

Dear guest, please find below the instructions to B&B Vietri 360. We are in the historical centre, just a step away from the Cathedral of San Giovanni Battista, 5 minutes’ walk from Piazza Matteotti, 10 minutes’ walk from Vietri sul Mare train station.

By car

Coming from North, take the A3 and exit in Vietri sul mare. For those coming from Napoli Capodichino airport, take the E45 and then the A3 and exit in Vietri sul Mare. It only takes 45 minutes. From South, take the Salerno-Reggio Calabria towards Salerno and follow the signs for the Costiera Amalfitana until you reach Vietri sul Mare.

Parking cost

The cost of the parking in Piazza Matteotti and along the streets of the village is € 2 per hour. Otherwise, a private garage is also available if you book it in advance with a cost of € 10 per day.

By means

From Napoli Capodichino airport:

Otherwise: two bus lines go to Salerno:

  • SITA: at 08:45 and 16:00 from 07/01 to 26/07 and from 01/09 to 21/12 Mon-Fri;
  • Buonocore: at 9:15 and 13:30 Mon-Sat except Bank Holidays.

ALIBUS from the airport to Napoli Centrale Station (around €5) and from there you have two possibilities:

  • From Napoli Piazza Garibaldi (inside Napoli Centrale but underground) you can take the metropolitan train direct to Vietri sul Mare that runs every hour and takes about 1h 20mins, and costs € 4.70.
  • From Napoli Centrale you can take the regional train to Salerno. It costs €4.70 and takes 40mins.

From Roma:

The fastest way but more expensive is the Frecciarossa train:

  • Frecciarossa train from Roma Termini (fewer from Tiburtina) direct to Salerno takes 1h 30m and usually costs around 50euro but you can find offers if you book in advance (even though I don’t know if it’s safe as in case of flight delay or anything you would miss it but let’s be positive!)

Otherwise, there is the Intercity train:

  • Intercity train from Termini direct to Salerno is cheaper but takes almost 3 hours.
  • You can check the timetable on http://www.trenitalia.com (trenitalia)

There are some buses from Roma to Salerno too if you prefer (you can check all the options on GoEuro (https://www.goeuro.com):

  • Baltour (3h35m, around 18euros) from Tiburtina and stops in Salerno near Salerno train station.
  • Flixbus (4h, around 10euros) from TIburtina stops in Salerno near the station too.
